Thus, the Andenes Fiskemottak, A.S. is the first company in the fishing industry to include the entire value chain from capture to the final customer.
The company's goal is to ensure the supply of raw materials directly from the fishermen to the customers and shareholders for final products preparation. The activities of the Andenes Fiskemottak, A.S. are only related to the reception, gutting, the sorting and packaging of marine resources, raw materials, from the fishing fleet.
The company's obligation is the traceability of all products in terms of ship, tools, both in terms of date and place of capture.

Formed on November 6, 1981, having as core chore, salting, drying and other processing activities of fishery products.. More specifically, the company´s activity focuses on processing and marketing of dry salted cod and soaked deep-frozen cod.
The company Rui Costa e Sousa & Irmão, S.A. holds various brands to market their products.
In the segment of the dry salted, uses the high quality brands, BomPORTO, Alavário and Brites.
While in the segment of soaked deep-frozen cod brands Sr. Bacalhau, BomPORTO, Brites and Alavário.
The company also markets its product packaged in several own brands of some strategic clients.

The company Brites, Vaz & Irmão, S.A. was established in 1929 and is currently the oldest in Portugal. The Group Rui Costa e Sousa & Irmão , S.A. is proud to have it acquired in February 1998.
Has been operating since 1929, which attests to their relevance and the satisfaction of not only keeping the tradition and quality of real healing Traditional Portuguese Bacalhau, as the improvement and modernization of processes. To respond to the new market segment - Soaked Deep Frozen, the Group inaugurated in 2007, a new and modern industrial unit, with a processing capacity of 6250 tonnes/year. In 2014, will finish the works of extension of the Soaking that will allow to double its capacity.
