    Acquisition of Brites, Vaz & Irmãos
    February 1998 was a milestone for the Group, through the acquisition of the cod factory BVI,SA, placed in Gafanha da Nazaré, Aveiro - Portugal.
    The company has a production capacity of about 70 tons of cod per day, in operation since 1929, which attests to its relevance and fulfillment of not only having the tradition and the quality of the true Portuguese cod, as well as a refinement and modernization of processes.
